We celebrated my dad’s 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and versatile. Service was friendly though a bit slow but we didn’t mind because we were having a good time and the food was scrumptious.

Excellent and tasty food, I love the atmosphere this place has, and the employees were super nice. I will surely eat here again.

Cute place! Could not tell what kind of cuisine as they literally sell a little bit of everything. However food was good and we surprisingly went on a half price wine bottle night which was a plus!

Really enjoyed lunch and service was enthusiastic and attentive. Wings starter portion was huge! And my colleague who was with me had a burger that was equally large and needed taking away. Reasonably priced. Recommended. Btw, the prawns were absolutely delicious.

Serves 1/2 portion entrees. Perfectly portioned and prepared. Excellent selection of wines. I ordered the hanger steak, of which, I very rarely order beef. It was very tender.

We were extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food. We felt we were at home from the encounter to the dessert. A great experience. Can't wait to come back!

I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and we were able to find street parking right out front. We did not make a reservation and the place was packed! So I recommend making one before coming in just in case. We were able to get a seat at the bar and ordered some drinks and dinner. I got the duck and my boyfriend got a bacon wrapped beef dish. Both were very good with great sides. If you are big eaters (like we both are) I'd recommend ordering an additional side or appetizer or else you might be a bit hungry when leaving. Overall a great visit.

Sat at the bar; first time here and the service and food were excellent! The young person who took care of us (I think his name is Stephen?) was nothing short of attentive, friendly and knowledgeable-plus he makes killer boutique cocktails such as The Baldwin (featured in the photo). The Trumbull Kitchen will most definetely become a mainstay in my Hartford restaurant rotation.

Great staff and good food great selection of drinks and a really good happy hour selection. The signature drinks are a must try. I had the killer key lime and it was amazing. Great atmosphere as well

Ordered the Grilled Fillet Mignon as an appetizer and it was delicious. Steak was perfectly cooked (rare) and the tater tots on top added a nice crunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals as well. Very nice ambience with plenty of room in between tables. Will definitely will go back!

I didn't know what to expect from the outside view, but I was very pleased with the Trumbull Kitchen's lunch options during a recent business trip. The place was recommended by a coworker who is local to the area. I was told that it can fill up quickly during lunch, but we had no problems getting seated for a group of five at noon. The beer list is outstanding with some top of the line Connecticut craft brews, as well as some national staples. The menu had a lot of great options, and my bourbon burger was outstanding. The sweet potato fries were also very well prepared. The interior setting and seating is very stylish, with an old school speakeasy motif. Service was also very pleasant and responsive. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Hartford!

Nice place inside to have a social drink and appetizer. Food is good...but for the price? No. Jessica needs to work on waitressing. Kept reaching over food and wasn’t giving the customer service the other waiters/waitresses were giving. Could have been an off day for her but it was a night out for us (parents) that never get a night out alone. Really wish we could have had a better experience for it being our first time there

Subpar salad not enough chicken very tasty though. Lacking some cukes and grape tomatoes 🤔 but overall just okay nothing to write home about I've had better salads at a pizza shop...

Food and atmosphere was really nice. We had a great waitress and deserts were delicious. Definitely a good spot to go back too.

Stopped here for dinner before a show at The Bushnell (walking distance from the restaurant). I want to give this more stars because the food was not bad and the happy hour prices were great value, but the service was really slow. The servers themselves were perfectly friendly, but for some reason it was taking 10+ minutes to have a beer delivered to the table and the apps took even longer. We eventually decided against ordering entrees (despite being there for 2 hrs) because we were at risk of missing our show.

Amazing food!!! i visited with my friend on this location. we had spent great time at this restaurant.staff was very cooperative with each other. neat and clean place. we were highly impressed from their customer service. loved it.

We had a lovely time at Trumbull kitchen. Stopped by for a late dinner during our last night in Hartford before heading "home" (moving to Hartford soon). It was great finding another lovely spot downtown with great food and service. The ambiance inside was nice as well. Delicious food and iced tea, and the bar looked wonderful if you want something a little stronger than tea. :)

Get the empanadas, you won't regret it. Banana split was amazing, scallops were fantastic, but the "raveoli" was weird and did not taste good. Be warned that you will be forced to sit outside if you have a tanktop on in the summer.

The staff here is very rude and unprofessional. We had the older server with glasses who is black. Just rude. The host was a younger white man. Glared at my cousin like she was trash. I was dressed in a button down shirt because I had left work. She was in a sweatshirt which she then took off. She was wearing a tank and has a tat. She never felt so looked down on in her life! The server has a bad attitude and should honestly find another line of work if he feels a curt and snapping persona is the way to serve customers. I tipped 15%. I left and my cousin went to ladies room. When she came out and walked by the server, he was real snotty in saying "youre welcome".

fun, casual spot with a patio and allows dogs! we had great service, even though there were not a ton of other people sitting outside with us, which can complicate things for servers sometimes.great menu and amazing bread appetizer w a carrot butter it was so good. also ordered some amazing grown-up tots served w a piece of sirloin. wow. I'd definitely go back!

Some of the food was pretty good but some really wasn't great. Wasn't a fan of the pizza but their shrimp appetizer was good. Short ribs were good but not enough food. Spinach artichoke dip was pretty good too.

It's good. Dependable. Is it out of this world? No. But it's good. Not as good as the price point would suggest, though.

Friendly staff and delicious food! The restaurant is situated right next to a parking garage, which was convinient to the XL center and the Cirque tent. They do take reservations and had our table ready for us a half hour early. Not only were they accommodating, but the food was simple and delicious. Will definitely be back!
